Morbius

As primary vendor on Morbius, we had the task of coming up with the overall look and feel of the movie's effects. We began our work on Morbius by designing the final look for each character’s vampiric forms, with the goal of creating photorealistic, monstrous looks, using Digital Domain's latest facial technology. To complement the design of the vampires, we also developed the look of the superpowered effects throughout the film. This included the speed effects and fighting sequences, and the echolocation effects. In total, Digital Domain worked on over 500 VFX shots for the film.
